Snow Much Fun!

We finally got a good snow storm last week. The boys and I had fun playing in the back yard and building a snowman.

7 Things...

Here are 7 things you might not know about me. This was inspired by my friend Lucy.

1. I don't feel right if I don't get my chocolate milk in the morning and I have to drink it with a straw.

2. In high school, I tap danced with old ladies and my mom (mom was not an old lady, just mom). I was the youngest in the class by at least 25 years but it was so fun!

3. I have a nightcap of Oreos and milk almost every night after the kids are in bed.

4. I have never had a speeding ticket.

5. I have a special talent for running out the hot water heater while in the shower.

6. I have literally slept through a hurricane.

7. I'm scared of the dark, or at least being outside and alone in the dark.

Ashley, 11 Weeks Old

Ashley was 11 weeks old yesterday. I can't believe how fast she is growing. She is a happy baby and only cries when there's a problem (hungry, needs a diaper change or her brothers are mauling her.) She continues to sleep well at night usually only waking up once and she still loves to snuggle.

I know I'm biased, but I think she is beautiful.

Ashley's a great eater (notice the double chin) and food aggressive which I find funny. She's also starting to get excited when she realizes she's about to be fed.

Ashley is getting close to laughing too. She is such a sweet baby and I love her so much.

Children's Museum

We met some friends at the children's museum Friday and the boys had a blast! We may have to invest in a family pass.

The water works exhibit was the favorite of the day. There is also a dinosaur dig that the boys enjoyed but there were too many kids in there for them to find any bones. They also had fun shopping at the little grocery store exhibit.

Time Out!

Nickolas got put in time out the other day for being a stinker. He was sitting on the stairs screaming and then it was suddenly silent. I peeked around the corner and found him fast asleep in time out.

I had a hard time waking him up! We missed his nap that day and this was right before dinner. Needless to say, he went to bed early.

Super Sleuths!

I am back in the preschool rotation since having Ashley and this week it was my turn. The kids learned the letter S this week. I decided to have them play "Super Sleuths" and find different objects that start with the letter S. They had a blast and I had to hide the items several times so they could find them again. Nickolas loves to sit with the big kids and do what they are doing when preschool is at our house.

CTR

Mathias is a CTR 4 in Primary now. Last Sunday he was given a CTR ring in Primary. He has been really excited about it all week and has been trying his best to choose the right.
