Mathias' Blessing

Mathias was born on October 30, 2006. He was 8 lbs 6 oz and 22 inches long at birth and is growing bigger every day. He is five weeks old now and is starting to notice his surroundings and learning to smile. Brian has even managed to get him to giggle a couple of times.

We blessed Mathias on Thanksgiving Day in the company of both of our families in Rexburg, ID. He is wearing the same outfit his Daddy was blessed in, complete with a 35 year old spit-up stain.

Changes

Well, it has been a while and a lot has happened since my last post. We moved from Logan, UT to the Salt Lake area, Brian started a new job in his field of chemistry and the biggest news of all, we are expecting our first baby around November 3. We are both excited and the changes have been good for us eventhough they all happened at the same time. We found out we are having a boy and all is well as far as the doctor can tell. I have been lucky and have had an easy pregnancy so far. Brian and I are both doing well and anticipating our new arrival in a couple of months, scary. :)
