Christmas Comes Early

Christmas came early for Brian tonight. His brother returned his bass guitar after having it for a while. Thanks, Jeff!

Stair Master

Nickolas is a climber. He climbs on anything he can and gets mad when I gate off the stairs. He also gets mad when I try to show him how to go down the stairs.

Brian got me a new camera for my birthday and I love it! These are some pictures from playing around with the camera and trying to figure out all of its features.

Last night Mathias was running around showing off for my friends and slipped and hit his head on the book shelf. He was bleeding quite a bit but I was able to get it stopped for an hour or so. When I went to change the band aid before bed it started bleeding again and I could get a better look at how deep the cut was. So, I loaded the boys in the car and took Mathias to the emergency room to see if he needed stitches. (Brian was on his way home from Kalispell.) Luckily, Mathias's head did not need stitches and the doctor was able to glue and tape his head back together. Mathias was really good at the hospital and even got a popsicle.

When we first put up the Christmas tree Nickolas was constantly trying to get it.

Drummer Boys

The boys were rocking out to Christmas music and having a blast playing the "drums" while I decorated the house for Christmas.
Mathias was the lead drummer and Nickolas usually ended up as his cymbal.

This is what Nickolas does for most of the day. He will crawl or scoot anywhere he can go or climb on anything he can all while happily jabbering away. He is a busy boy.

Mathias's Napping Habits

Lately when I put Mathias down for a nap I peek in to check on him and to see what all of the noise was coming from. His room is a mess and he is asleep on the floor. Kids fall asleep in the funniest positions.

We're Back!

We made it home from Thanksgiving at my parents' house yesterday. We had a lot of fun with our family but I forgot to take any pictures. Mathias didn't want to leave his cousins. We hardly saw him all week because he was so busy playing with the kids. His favorite game for a couple of days was to play "doctor" with a toy doctor kit he found. We were all laughing at the little kids playing doctor. I was glad that they are all still innocent so we didn't have to worry about them playing "doctor" if you know what I mean. Nickolas has started crawling on his hands and knees (he has been army crawling for a couple weeks) during this last week and is into EVERYTHING. Now Nickolas is trying to pull himself up to anything he can reach. Both boys were exhausted when we got home and were sound asleep before 7pm.

This morning I FINALLY found the missing PJ's that I have been looking for since last Tuesday. Mathias had hidden them in a basement closet. I'm glad the mystery is solved because it was driving me nuts. They were folded in the laundry basket ready to be put away and then they were gone. It was so weird! But now that I know what happened to them it all makes sense.

Bright-Eyed and Bushy-Tailed!

Mathias was supposed to be in his room taking a nap when I heard a loud pounding sound. I went upstairs to see what was going on and found Mathias laying in his closet with his blankets and stuffed animals.

No way is this kid taking a nap today, he's still bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!

Where's That Coat Going With the Baby?

Where's that coat going with the baby? Nickolas needed a coat that wasn't a full snowsuit and this is the smallest one I could find. I guess it will keep his hands warm. Maybe it will fit him by the end of the season. :) If you look close you can see his two little teeth that just popped up a couple of weeks ago.

I think Mathias had too much candy and fun after his birthday and trick or treating. He was a little crazy.
