Phillipsburg

Memorial day weekend we took a day trip down to Phillipsburg, MT. This is at an art museum on the side of the road. It was pretty amazing and all of the art was done by the same man.

12 Weeks

I had another ultrasound yesterday to verify my due date of November 24. I am now 12 weeks along. This is a front view of the baby. It was fun to see how much the baby has grown in the last month.

I'm Back!!!

After almost two weeks of being away from home and Brian I'm home from my girls trip with Brian's sisters. Brian's dad was generous enough to give all of the girls his frequent flier miles so we could go visit Becky who lives in Connecticut. I left my boys with my parents for the week and then went to Connecticut and NYC. I had a blast and we had a lot of fun exploring NYC for a couple of days. It was a much needed break for me but I'm happy to be home. Pictures to follow when I get around to it later. :)

We had fun with Easter this year. The boys really enjoyed the egg hunt and candy.

Nickolas

He went to the doctor today for his 12 month check up. Here are his stats:

29 inches tall (25th percentile)

17 pounds 1 ounce (below the 2nd percentile)

Nickolas is a happy and healthy little boy and we love him so much.

Nickolas turned 1 on March 19. I can't believe how fast this last year has gone. Here are some pictures from his birthday party.

Cake Fiasco

Making Nickolas's cakes turned out to be quite the fiasco.

The boys were glued to the oven when the cake first started baking. Nickolas kept looking, laughing and pointing at the bear in the oven.

He just figured this out.

Mathias had been asking me for cake all day and kept hearing the answer, "No!" He couldn't stand it anymore and took the first chance he could to get some cake. I went upstairs to get Nickolas from his nap and came down to find Mathias sitting at the table eating off the head of Nickolas's cake.

I didn't put the clamps on the cake mold in the correct location and half of the batter ended up leaking out giving me only half of a bear. Luckily I put foil on the cookie sheet holding the cake pan. So, after a quick trip to the store for more cake mix and a late night I was able to get the cakes baked and decorated.

A Day at the Park

The weather has been beautiful the last week or so and we have been able to spend a lot of time outside and at the park. Mathias loves to be able to play with the other little boys at the park.

There were other kids there that he was playing with but I didn't think their moms would appreciate me taking their pictures.
