The kitchen was this horrible shade of pumpkin orange when we moved in. It made me nervous just being in the room. It didn't even match the counters, cabinets or floor. My parents were nice enough to help us paint it the day after we moved in.

A sigh of relief. I love my kitchen and I'll actually do the dishes now. I HATE doing the dishes and we used to use a lot of paper plates when I had to do the dishes by hand or with a dishwasher that didn't work well and you ended up washing the dishes by hand anyway. It's not so bad when the dishwasher works. :)
