Chocolate Milk

Mathias finally learned how to drink from a straw. All it took was a little bit of chocolate milk.

This was his first taste of the yummy stuff and he loved it!

He was upset when it was all gone.

Into the Toy Box

Mathias is such a little monkey! He climbs on anything he can. He was playing by his toy box and the next thing I knew he was inside!

Time to Get Out!

No matter how many times we show him how to go feet first, Mathias always uses his head.

Stroller Walker

Mathias is almost a year old and has no interest in walking unless he is holding onto his stroller. He walks on his tippy toes and gets going pretty fast. We had a good laugh watching him go.

Bubble Bath

Mathias was having a pretty good time with his bubble bath. He had a bubble goatee but he wiped it off as soon as we got the camera out.

This is how Mathias is most of the time. Curious, silly, trouble, a jabber box and in my opinion, too cute for words.

Mischief Managed

We are finally moved and mostly settled. Mathias is finally starting to adjust to our new home. He wasn't very sure about our move and has had a hard time the last few weeks. Mathias loves to explore and has figured out how to open the cupboards. This is his favorite new activity driving mom and dad crazy. He reminds me a lot of Brian in these pictures with his saggy, baggy pants.

Long Time No See

Mathias and I drove up to Idaho Falls to visit my best friend, Rachel, before she returned to Alaska where her husband is stationed in the Army. We spent two days just hanging out like old times, except, of course, with a baby in tow. Rachel and I have been best friends since high school and try to get together when we can. Unfortunately, it isn't very often we get to see each other in person. We had a lot of fun and I am glad we could get together before she left.

Baby Attacks Hair!!!

Some days I wonder if Mathias is going to be the kid on the playground that all of the girls hate because he pulls their hair. I don't know what to do with him, he pulls hair at every chance he gets! He seeks it out! A few weeks ago at church Mathias was standing up on the back of the bench and there just happened to be a family with three little girls sitting behind us. One of them had her hair up in a bun and was turned around coloring. Needless to say, Mathias reached out and pulled.

Bath Run

Mathias loves bath time! He gets really excited when he hears the water running and we start getting him undressed. As soon as we let him go, he heads straight for the tub. His legs get going faster than his arms and he face-plants in the same place almost every time. He'll climb in the tub himself if we don't catch him.

Binky, Binky

Mathias thinks it is pretty funny that he has 2 binkies. I keep a spare in his crib so that when he throws the first one over the side he still has a binky. That is until he drops that one too. He has quite a little personality, he keeps me laughing.

Fish Lips

Mathias has started making fish lips after evey bite of food. Silly kid.
