Mathias is getting so big so fast! At his last check up he was 27 inches tall and 15 pounds 11 ounces. Tall and skinny for his age. I don't know where the time has gone. It seems like we just brought him home from the hospital and now he is 7 months old. He is so curious and he is able to move around on his own. He can finally sit up on his own and loves to ride in the shopping cart at the store. Mathias doesn't crawl yet but he rolls across the floor and will scoot on the back of his head to where ever he wants to be. It is pretty entertaining to watch. He still won't laugh much but he is a happy kid and we love him so much. He has brought so much happiness into our home.

Ahhhhh!!!!!

He can finally do it!!! Mathias is not a very flexible baby and could never get his feet in his mouth until he started sitting up. We're so proud. :)

Starting Young

Out of all of his toys, his favorite things to play with are an empty soda can and a plastic plate. Go figure. :)

Naked Baby!!!

Mathias is the happiest when he is naked. Most of the time it is the only way to get him to laugh.

Pork Chops and Applesauce

This was our messiest face so far and I know it will only get worse! Mathias kept grabbing the spoon and squishing the applesauce out of his mouth only to push it back in with his hands. He had applesauce and oatmeal up his nose and at one point in his eye. He loves dinner time and so far he has liked everything we have given him. Most of the time we can't get it into his mouth fast enough! I think he is pretty cute all messy. That is, until he slimes me or sneezes with a mouth full.

We bought Mathias a high chair this past weekend and he thinks it is pretty cool. He has so far enjoyed his new perspective and loves to sit up and be a 'big kid'. It makes feeding him so much easier.

We had a fun Easter this year with Mathias. He didn't really know what was going on but he loved his new duck and binky. He looked adorable in his Easter clothes and stole the show at church. He had all of the ladies sitting by me in Relief Society wrapped around his little finger. I think he knows he is super cute and is turning out to be a flirt.

Mathias is finally learning to sit up on his own. He can hold himself up with his arms, but his balance is still a little shaky. As you can tell from his face and drool, it is hard work! He likes to study everything around him and doesn't like to lay down for very long anymore. He also just learned to play peek-a-boo (he can pull the blanket from his face by himself now) and he thinks it is pretty funny. I think he is going to give me trouble in a couple of months. He is a busy and wiggly little kid and he is keeping me busy. Luckily he has a very mild temperament and is a good, happy and noisy (he likes to squeel and spit) baby most of the time. We sure love him.
