Bear World

We went to Bear World with some of Brian's family.  It was fun to see all of the bears and feed the other animals.

Ashley with Aunt Melissa and Uncle Matt who are excited for their new arrival to come in February.  :)

The goat was helping himself.

Hogle Zoo

We FINALLY took a vacation this year and went down to Utah and Idaho to visit our families.  While in Salt Lake we went to Hogle Zoo with my sister and her daughter.  It was a lot of fun and I wish we lived closer to our family.
Zoorasic Park exhibit was at the zoo and the boys still think that the dinosaurs are real.  They were all anamatromic and very cool.

Nickolas checking out the gorilla's nipples.  The kid is obsessed with nipples and we have no idea what started it.
 The kids with Daddy

Holding elephant poop.  He thought it was pretty neat.
 Life size T-Rex
 Ashley was exhausted.

 She is so stinking cute!
She had so much fun watching all of the people and eating cotton candy.  (That's what the blue is on her face.)

9 Months Old

Ashley at 9 months old.
 She is so cute!

Squash!

We had a pretty successful garden this year.  Our squash plants both did really well.
We got tons of giant squash.  We would pick the small ones for dinner and then a few days later we would find seveal monster squash on the plant.  The boys thought they were pretty cool.  I shredded and froze the giant vegetables.

Western Montana State Fair

We went to the Western Montana State Fair held here in Missoula at the end of August.  Here are a few pictures.
 Ashley
The boys got to go for a ride on a miniture horse.  They both thought it was pretty cool.

They both love tractors and were so excited to sit on one.

 Riding the rides.
 Watching her brothers.

Cookie Monster

Never leave cookies on the counter within reach of a two year old.

Nickolas found some Oreos and hid while he helped himself.

Busted!
He mostly just ate the cream centers and nibbled the cookies.

The Police

Mathias - Why do police have guns?
Dad - So they can shoot bad guys.
Mathias - Well, why don't they just have light-sabers?

Giant Zuchini!

This zucchini seemed to grow overnight. We checked the plant a day or two ago and there were only little zucchini on the plant. This afternoon Brian came in with two huge zucchini. It's funny how they grow so fast. The boys thought it was pretty cool to grow such a big zucchini. They even like to eat the vegetables that have come from our garden this year.

Sorry to my photographer friends, I know it's out of focus, but she's just so cute!

So Comfy!

Doesn't she look so comfortable? It cracks me up when I find the kids sleeping in funny positions.

Baby Doll

I bought Ashley a baby doll and she loves it. She gets so excited when she plays with her baby doll or other babies.

Captain America!

Mathias LOVES Captain America! He had a friend come over and we made some Captain America shields out of paper plates. Who knew that a paper plate could provide WEEKS of entertainment.

All three boys with their shields.

National Bison Range

While my parents were here a couple of weeks ago we drove out to the National Bison Range. It was fun to see all of the bison but I forgot to take any pictures.

Inside the visitor's center.

Superheroes?

These pictures are from a couple weeks ago. The boys were playing with the leftover foam pieces from the chairs I upholstered. I think it was their armor and guns.

Superhero Concert!!!

Brian built this wooden xylophone today and the boys enjoyed giving us a concert of Captain America songs.

Here's Mathias playing his Captain America song on the ukulele.

And here's Nickolas playing his Iron Man song on the ukulele.

They love their superheroes!

Ashley's Tounge

She's like a little puppy with that tounge. It is ALWAYS hanging out of her mouth. All you have to do is touch her chin and it will pop out of her mouth.

(This video was taken a few weeks ago.)
